VFX Soldier drew my attention to this in his post “Take That James Franco”
This morning I watched the new trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes (too many ‘of the’ in my opinion). The trailer looks ok but the most interesting thing about it is that the only name check is for Weta Digital, not the actors of the director.
This seems to be a step in the right direction towards giving the VFX industry the same level of credit that other parts of the film making process get.
